Khan Academy is a site designed to help students build their math skills from addition on up to Algebra II. When students can't answer a question, they can get help and watch a video on how do the problem. This is what we are using in our class to fill the gaps in mathematical knowledge.

Purple Math.com is an excellent web site dedicated to math tutorials. This site is very student friendly with practice exercises.

JeffersonLab is an excellent web site for teachers and students alike. It has math games, and the practice SOL's help students to master math concepts in a manner that they will be tested in. The practice SOL's allows students to see where they went wrong so they know where they need to strengthen their skills.

Dynamic Web Tools is a site with interactive solvers and presenter tools. This would be a handy site for students as well as teachers in classes ranging from Algebra to Calculus. I particularly like the "DrillMasters" that students can use to essentially drill themselves online.

The Math Page is a site in which teachers can find complete HTML lessons on nearly every topic covered in Algebra, Geometry, Trig, Pre Calculus and Calculus. If you like, send your students here for refreshers on the day's material or to help study for the Regents exams.

GeoGebra is like Geometer's Sketchpad, only it's free and you don't have to have the disk in the computer to run it. Just go to this site and download your free copy.

Math in Movies is a site to watch video clips of mathematics on the big screen. Each clip contains information about the type of math mentioned.

The Futures Channel not only provides video clips of how math is used in every day situations, but also provides activities of how you can use the video in your classroom.

Digital Storytelling has videos of "History of Math", "Geometry: Art & Architecture", "The Pythagorean Theorem", and "Architecture in Math".

Various Flash resources for all grades. These Flash files break down seemingly complex problems into elementary problems.
Brightstorm.com has free math tutorial videos, examples and more for every level of pre-collegiate mathematics.

MathWorld is the brainchild of Steven Wolfram. Everything you need to know and more about math topics. This is the encyclopedia on mathematics at any level.

ePat is a software to take practice SOL's for Virginia.
